Things I Bought - March

I've been wanting to do this post since I first went shopping half way through march, but I had to wait until the end of the month just in case I might buy something else... and I did!
So, this month I went to the city to go to Lollapalooza (which I'll post about later) ; while I was there I went to the big malls and enjoyed taking part in the consumer culture I usually don't have access to. One of the downsides of living in a small town is that you don't really have access to many brands/products. No Topshop, H&M, MAC, no makeup stores etc. So the following are things I bought in the big city as well as other purchases that I made in march.

Makeup: I went to The Republic of Beauty and got a MakeUP Fixative from Vipera Cosmetics. This works pretty good, although I don't ever wear a full face of makeup. It does, however keep my eye-makeup and brows on point through the day, unless I vigorously rub my face. I also got Yafa makeup brush in 708 and an eyelash curler, and both of the do their job.
Back home I bought Maybelline's Illegal Length Mascara as well as the Master Precise Ink Pen Eyeliner. I am in love with both of these products. Illegal Length is my favourite mascara so far. It does exactly what it says it does, it definitely lengthens and it is 100% waterproof guaranteed. It doesn't clump on your eyelashes, it's magical wand helps keep them separated and you don't get any fallouts through out the day. The Master Precise is pretty good, although not perfect. It's not as opaque and you have to layer it on several times to get that black wing. The felt tip makes it super easy to get those perfect fine-lined wings. Once it dries completely it won't budge unless it gets really wet or if you rub it.
I got the Nail Top Coat by Petrizzio and Pure Color in the shade Caramel 281 by Pamela Grant.

One of the things I missed the most was Lush. Walking into that perfumed shop filled with natural beauty care in all shapes and colours.... Heaven. I got the Sex Bomb Bath Bomb and Milky Bath Bubble Bar. I'm super exited to try these out!

And finally, I got this gorgeous Writing Set. It comes with 10 sheets of writing paper and 10 envelopes. The illustrations are from the "British Flowering Plants" by William Baxter. The best part it that when I use up all the paper and envelopes I will still have this beautiful folder!

(p.s. while I was in the city I bought this 330mL Evian water bottle. I'm not usually one that buys bottled water, but I just couldn't resist. With its cute packaging and tiny size, it fits in even my smallest purse, I can easily refill it and I've been drinking a lot more water lately (which is always good).

Take care,
~Rose
