Friday Favorites

I love animal crossing, so I was smitten when I laid eyes on this embroidery. Sadly, it's already sold, but there are lots of other wonderful items in the shop.

Teeth jewellery. Do I really need to say anything else?

This egg tee

I'm a huge Valentino fan, and I particularly love this dress from their SS14 collection.

Three Cicadas by Vincent Van Gogh (Saint-Remy-de-Provence, july 1989)

Now, I've seen load of these images going around tumblr, but in pillow form?? Loved the idea.

ANIMAL CROSSING BENTO BOX!!

This sweater.

These Sailor Moon leggings.

And I recently discovered the artist Ruby, from rubyetc, and I fell in love with her artwork. Through her minimalist drawing style she explores deeply complex themes such as existentialism, nihilism, and mental disorders.

Punucapa Church - part 2:

The Figures

This is the second post of my Punucapa Church series. You can see the first part here, there I talked about the history of the place and showed general photos of the church. In this post you will be able to admire the details of the religious statues. These are made out of wood, they are hand-carved, hand-painted and date back to over 100 years. As you can see they are mostly worn and could do with some touch ups, but to be honest, I like them just how they are. I feel it goes along well with the Church's history and aesthetic.

And, as I said in the other post, I went around christmas time, so I was able to see the manger! Here are some close-ups of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus.

Hope you enjoyed this and the third part will be up soon!

Færïe House

This is a Faerie House I made earlier this summer on the bank of a river. Made out of river mud, pebbles, flowers, leaves and plants that I gathered from the forest that was nearby.

Then, as the sun went down and the tide went up, my little house was washed away. The river spirits took everything back and the cycles goes on.
