Bellas Artes - part 1

I really wanted to share these pictures for a while now and now I have finally gotten around to it!!! On the same trip to Santiago, during which I visited the San Francisco Church (part 1 & 2), I went to the Chilean National Museum of Fine Arts, or as we call it here Museo de Bellas Artes.
It was finally established in 1910 and I'm proud to say that this is my country's national museum for it is beyond beautiful.

Inspired by the Petite Palais of Paris, Bellas Artes presents a Neoclassicist design while incorporating some Art Nouveau ornamentations that were typical of the era.

And to finish this I would like to share one of my favourite photos of that day: This little cat somehow found it's way into the main hall of the museum, and I was able to snap a shot as one of the staff members was quickly taking him back outside.

Blessed be,
~Rose
